St. Andrews supports the inner city community at allstages of the life cycle from childcare provision through youth programmes, adult education, employment preparation, home help and a Day Centre for the elderly.
IFSC Trust has supported St. Andrew’s Resource Centre over the years, and recently granted €4k to roll out its IT access programme “Reach”.
The Trust was delighted to support St Vincent's Girl's National School, North Strand with a €5k grant to refurbish the school kitchen, named after former pupil Kelli Harrington, Ireland's boxing World Champion and Olympic gold medal winner.

The development of Sensory Spaces within schools was identified as an important area for investment by the National Council for Special Education (NCSE) in 2021.
The Trust was delighted to part fund an important redevelopment project which enabled Barnardo’s Child Bereavement service transform the back yard at Buckingham Street into a therapeutic community space for children, families and adults experiencing trauma and grief.
The Trust has received a number of applications in the recent years from schools in the inner city seeking support to fund the development of Sensory spaces for children with special educational needs.
